Just finished reading a "classic"

So, I was forced as a young person to redid most the "classic" novels - for my own good of course, and they were great (almost all of them). A few got missed apparently. I realized this when I was reading an article on Facebook published by the NYT and realized I had only touched the surface of all of the novels considered classics, or "best books of all time". There were familiar names among the authors and I saw a lot of repeated writers. I started to feel MUCH LESS intellectual than I believed myself to be all this time!

Felling inspired by the "New Year, New Me" tagline going around, I have dedicated myself in 2017 to reading as many of my missed classics as possible. It will be a great way to take my mind off of the state of our political darkness ahead.

First of the missed classics COMPLETE:

This was a bit slow to start, but it was a fun read. It held my interest for the 215 pages of back and forth time warping and was even a little funny. Recommended as a weekend read or to and from on a round trip flight.
